Beavers, Cubs and Scouts Go Back in Time.

As part of our 75th anniversary celebrations we had a stall onThatcham Broadway on the morning of Saturday 4th September 2010.

Former members of 1st Thatcham Scout Group along with members of the public visited our stall whilst shopping in Thatcham.

Seen here with some of our cubs is former member Jim Wild who travelled down to see the display because he will be away on holiday on the 26th September when we hold the last of our celebration events. Jim was a cub at 1st Thatcham in 1957 and during his visit, Jim was suprised to find several photo's of himself when he was a cub. Jim then told our beavers, cubs and scouts what scouting was like in his day and the kind of things they used to get up to.
